Riding Addiction is a structure dedicated to high-level, professional, Downhill Mountain Bike racing.

This structure was created in 2006 by Thibaut Ruffin, a downhill rider with the view to operating an independent team at the highest level, in his favourite sport.
Many partners and sponsors in the mountain bike industry have given us their support and put their trust in Riding Addiction.

Having travelled the world for 3 seasons, participating in major national and international events as the only rider of Riding Addiction, Thibaut decided in late 2009 to expand the team in order to give it a stronger image and to keep it on the up within the mountain bike world. Myriam Nicole, a rising star of French downhill and Gaëtan Ruffin, Thibaut’s brother (and former high-level alpine skier) joined Riding Addiction.

At the end of the 2012 season we decided to expand the team with another new rider because of the success we’d had which included a World Cup win, many World Cup podiums, French and European titles. We managed to get promising rider as well as great friend Rémi Thirion onboard.

Nine months later on 29th July 2012 in Vallnord, Andorra, Rémi claimed his first World Cup win and therefore brought to Riding Addiction his first World Cup win in the Men’s Elite class.

2014 marked a new beginning for the team. New Zealand’s Cam Cole, another big name in the mountain bike world, former several-times World Cup podium finisher, joined the team and brought that international touch we were looking for. We also made a big step forward in our race set up with a wonderfully converted race coach and awning, enabling us to have a 120 square metre showroom space for our partners!
Therefore, we are proud to run one of the biggest structures in the pits!

Thanks to this experience with Riding Addiction and thanks to the help of all our partners since 2006, we live such great and unforgettable moments, we achieved dreams we always believed in and done all we could to make them come true in the past. That’s why, these dreams, our commitment in our sport and our motivation pushes us to aim even higher and reach further.
